Homeschool Music Recital

We’re organizing a special community recital for homeschooled children and kids who take in-home music lessons! This is a chance for young musicians to share the joy of their music in a warm, supportive setting. A piano will be provided, and children are welcome to bring the instrument of their choice.

The recital will take place on a Friday evening in early December (exact date TBA) at River Farm in Alexandria, VA. The cost is about $25 per child, which helps cover the venue rental, light refreshments, and a small contribution to the Save The Magic scholarship fund.

If your child would like to perform, please fill out the interest form to join the contact list for registration details. Families and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate these young musicians.

We can’t wait to make this a joyful community event full of music, encouragement, and connection

Plimoth Patuxet Museums shares the voices and stories of the Wampanoag and English people, helping us connect with the enduring lessons of the past. Their virtual programs bring these stories to life through engaging presentations, interactive experiences, and meaningful conversations.

Save The Magic Education Collective will host a virtual presentation by Plimoth Patuxet Museums at our indoor classroom in the Children's Nature Library at River Farm in Alexandria, VA. This interactive program will begin at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 7th and run for approximately one hour. Families are encouraged to arrive anytime after 10:15am to settle in. In addition to our students, we invite the wider community to join this event and take part in the wonderful opportunity to learn about the Wampanoag people.
